This noticeboard has been installed as a collaboration between QPRC and Riverside Plaza to provide a dedicated space to advertise arts and cultural events taking place in Queanbeyan.
The QPRC and Riverside Plaza teams will continue to monitor and evaluate the process of poster and flyer submissions during a 6-month trial period. If you have any specific questions or feedback, please contact: riversideinfo@retprogroup.com.au.
Promote Your Event
Members of the QPRC and Riverside Plaza team will review your submission and its suitability for display. If your submission is eligible, you will be invited to provide a printed copy. New notices will be added to the noticeboard each Wednesday (subject to availability). Printed copies should be dropped to the Riverside Plaza offices no later than COB Tuesday.
Frequently Asked Questions
What sort of event can be displayed on the noticeboard?
A dedicated arts & cultural focused event taking place in the Queanbeyan area. Community events such as craft markets or school fêtes that include an arts or cultural component can be submitted.
What's not eligible to be displayed?
Large-scale commercial events such as sporting, animal racing, alcohol or gambling sponsored, or focused events are not eligible for display.
How do I get a poster on the board?
Submit your event via the online form. If your event is edible, you will be invited to leave a printed copy at the Riverside Plaza management office*.
How big can the poster be?
Maximum notice size is A4. If possible, please provide both A4 and A5 copies.
How long will the posted by displayed?
Notices can be displayed up to 4 weeks (subject to availability) before the event and will be removed immediately following. During peak event season (October – April) notices may be displayed for a shorter period or in an A5 format.
*Posters will be displayed at the discretion of QPRC and Riverside Plaza in line with the above criteria. Poor quality posters will not be accepted.
